Cuan Walker
My name is Cuan Walker and I live in Durban, South Africa.
I am very passionate about life and especially running. I’m involved in the management of the Mr Price athletics club which is one of the top professional teams in South Africa with athletes even from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Poland, Lesotho, France and Russia competing for the team. I have made friends with many of the world’s top athletes and built great friendships.
I also do live TV commentating for the SABC (South African Broadcasting Commission) whenever there are races on TV that are shown live. It is my dedication and knowledge of the sport that has got me to where I am now.
I love long distance running and have completed 2 Comrades Marathon’s to date. Next year (2010) I am going big for Comrades in terms of training and preperation and I hope to achieve a good time. With assistance from some of the best current Comrades runers, in terms of training and advice, I believe I am in a good position to do well provided I do the hard work!
Give yourself a challenge. Comrades Marathon 2010… come on, I know you want to! Every able bodied person should run the Comrades at least once in their life. It’s not a race, it’s a life changing experience. Make it your goal today
Thanks for letting me know about the blog. Hope it is a great success. I will check it out from time to time and put in “my 2 cents worth”!

Hey Walker,
Really good stuff Cu, really like the lay out and interviews! How about a section about SA runners now based overseas? maybe a profile on that Durban boy kyle chettleburgh who is running pretty well on the college scene in the US?
oh and walker I think you should state all your DNFs in races on your blog!!!!
Cheers
